I like the different proposal presented in Red Heart mixing a traditional fighting game with the basics of an RPG like leveling up and acquiring new moves, in addition to excellent graphics and presenting 4 characters with interesting plots.

20:30-20:34 For a fantasy Japanese character, Kenji ended the final battle in the most American way possible. Red Earth. The 1st Capcom fighter that ran on the CPS-3. This gave birth to some great sprite animations, banger OST (Shout-outs to Leo, Hauzer, and Blade), and fast paced gameplay. So happy it finally came to home consoles via the Capcom Fighting Collection!

A shame that Kenji, and actually all other Red Earth chars, even the whole brand name, disappeared completely. I understand that it had little potential to last for much long but disappearing that way it's just sad. Morrigan isnt dead for example, only Darkstalkers... but she appears in crossover games.

I agree that the lack of their use in other games is disheartening. It could spark interest again if others could see them. It's a nice homage as well. I believe Leo or the mage is in an SNK/Capcom crossover.

Leo, Kenji, Hauzer and Hydron appeared in Capcom Fighting Evolution. While Tessa appeared in SNK VS Capcom Chaos and Pocket Fighter.
