I agree I heard a rumor that Joey was supposed to win battle city because in Japan anime it was about him becoming a real duelist and winning Red-Eyes back so defeating Marik and having the finals being Yugi vs Joey would've been an epic plot twist and inspiration to show zero to champion. Joey was a great character I loved him in season 4 because he got the best treatment in that season.

Kinda wish Red-Eyes had another support card where you’re able to special summon it from the hand when you control another red eyes card. And once per turn you can tribute it to special summon Red eyes black dragon from the hand deck or GY, after that u can equip it to red eyes and gives it protection from monster effects and gives it attack and defense boost

This is a great build, I love Red-Eyes even despite how unpopular it is! I hope we get the OCG Red-Eyes Black Meteor Dragon in the TCG at some point to help search and re-use Red-Eyes Fusion better. With how much utility a lot of these monsters have and how great their designs are, I'm still surprised Red-Eyes doesn't get the love it deserves

My favorite archetype hands down, and it's awesome how many red-eyes monsters get to be in the deck now. I understand there's another red-eyes support on the horizon, too. It is sad to me that dragon nails finally saw a release after all of these years, just to not be good enough to see play with this deck.

In all honesty red eyes needs a new fusion spell. Red eyes fusion honestly sucks now, especially since branded fusion is the same thing. Just give us branded fusion, but for red eyes.

Great deck mine is in an experimental stage I am going for a controlled build utilizing summon limit and dragon bind, still needs testing but I love how there is so many ways to build this deck. I want Atticus retrain for the next Red-Eyes support hopefully we get good support like a ritual and a better ritual spell. I would love a ritual spell that goes off attack point so summoning Lord of The Red would be more convenient and a fusion substitute so I don't have to use gemini's or extra normals would be great too, also more warrior Red-Eyes monster.

I absolutely loved red eyes and Joey in the OG anime and using anime decks instead of the meta decks are way more fun imo! You play 0 flare, 1 tempest dragon ruler of storm, 2-3 kashthira unicorn to surch berth, 1-2 allure, cards of the red stone, or sacred sword of 7 stars. Astral Kuribo makes big eye or mind hacker, (Rokket syncron as a 1 of & Borreload is still really good). With the Bystials you can play Hieratic Dragon King of Atum. there are a ton of ways to play the deck so good luck duelist

A filthy casual here, so please forgive what may be a terrible question. Is it at all worth considering running the Kaiju engine in this deck with Radian? Board wipe + quick way to get a first level 7 out (and dark for synergy). If you have monsters out, chain into Burst for some extra damage, then into Spirit for lvl 7 revival into Xyz of choice from there? Just a thought I had. Feel free to be brutally honest with my assessment. I haven't played YGO since synchros were still new.

If you include 2 Darkness Metal Dragons you can make a Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max, burn for 2000 and then go into a 4000 beatstick Adding Danger! Bigfoot! and a Beast-Eyes Pendulum Dragon can end up dealing berserk amounts of damage, especially if you play the combo with Piercing The Darkness Piercing The Darkness will allow your Red-Eyes Black Dragon Normal Monster or any Extra Deck monster with a Normal as material to gain ATK equal to the attack target. It also lets you draw every time you summon a Normal (in this case, Red-Eyes Black Dragon) I don't advise using Meteor Black Comet Dragon in tournaments unless your deck is specifically made to focus on it's FTK strategy. Drawing the materials to an immediate FTK can be rare, and not dependable or efficient. Otherwise you could settle with dealing over 4000 burn and ending your turn, and chances are your opponent will be able to vacuum your Comet Dragon and wipe your Life Points easily, Comet being your only defence after Red-Eyes Fusion has locked you down from Normal or Special Summoning for the rest of the turn. I don't understand why nobody uses this, but Inferno Fire Blast is very powerful, whether you use it on Red-Eyes Black Dragon or Comet Dragon, it can deal either 2400 (Red-Eyes Black Dragon) or 3500 (Comet Dragon) burn per copy of itself, it's easily searchable and not once per turn. Silver's Cry is meant for Blue-Eyes White Dragon but works perfectly for Red-Eyes too, can be powerful next to Red-Eyes Spirit and Monster Reborn. Successor Soul is another Blue-Eyes support but HOLY it is AWESOME for Red-Eyes! It tributes an effect monster, then summons a Normal level 7 or higher monster from your hand or Deck, while ALSO "sending" an opponents monster from the field to the graveyard, bypassing effects like "Cannot be destroyed by card effects" If you wanna be silly and fun, Magic Cylinder is fun but surprisingly consistent, it can easily be negated, but if not it can be hilarious and wipe out a tone of Life Points. Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon is a great boardwipe and OTK and is easy to make especially if Piercing is letting you draw so often I've been working on a Red-Eyes deck for like a year now, and this is just some information I'm willing to share with you guys, Red-Eyes has potential!!

I highly recommend you look into all these cards for Red-Eyes and see what I mean and tell me what you think. "Spells" Fusion Deployment, Seven Star Swords, Tribute Doll, Symbols Of Duty, Swing Of Memories, Small World, Dragon's Mirror ( Five Headed/First Of Dragons/Borrel Furious Dragon is easy ) Instant Fusion ( Darkfire Dragon ) One For One ( for either Black Stone, Black Metal Dragon or Red-Eyes B. Chick instantly to the field ) Contract With The Abyss can get out many level 6, 7, or 10 dark ritual monsters ( level 8 rituals with 1 Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon or Bystial Lubellion ) "Traps" Guardragon Cataclysm, Paradox Fusion, Champion's Vigilance, Tyrant Wing, Dragon's Rebirth, Fateful Hour, Castle Of Dragon Souls, Epidemic Eradicator Virus, Deck Devastation Virus, Waking The Dragon. Let me know if you want me to recommend to you 10 main deck monsters and 10 extra deck monsters also

@@RedEyeKing313X Fusion Deployment: I actually thought to use this technique with Meteor Black Dragon, but I don't like the restriction to Fusion monsters only Tribute Doll: That's surprisingly good for being a simple card, there may be other cards that can top it but I'll look into it Symbols of Duty: Seems like there may be other cards you can use instead, but an interesting Monster Reborn-ish effect Swing of Memories: Really good for building XYZ or Fusion, will definitley look into it and buy one if I can Small World: A great search but Red-Eyes normally (or at least my Red-Eyes deck) doesn't do so well with banishing its resources Dragons Mirror: I like it more than Red-Eyes fusion, but it depends if its worth fitting the Fusion monsters in and if you can handle banishment Instant Fusion/Darkfire Dragon: Why would you need Darkfire Dragon? One For One: I'm in search for one of these now Contract: I don't really do Ritual for my deck Cataclysm: I like the card, I like the effect, I'll try to include it if I have space and if I can find it Paradox Fusion: I try to avoid as much Fusion action as I can in this deck considering Red-Eyes fusion restricts so insanely Champion's Vigilance: A nice interruption, I'll keep it in mind Tyrant's Wing: A good boost but I won't really need it so much Dragon's Rebirth: I like this card and it does its job well, but its slow considering it's a trap. Maybe I'll think of adding it later. Fateful Hour: I think there's a lot more other cards that have the a similar effect that I could use Castle Of Dragon Souls: I like it but it's not so good for my deck Eradicator: I like it, except for the price but that would be fine, if I have space I'll add it Devastation: Not so bad Waking The Dragon: Although its a free summon of any choice, its slow being a trap card and the opponent needs to destroy it. Other cards could be faster I think There a few of these that I'm surprised to see work really well like Tribute Doll and Vigilance, so thanks. And yeah I'd be interested to see the monsters too thanks if you can

Wondering if Intimidating Ore - Summonite would be a cool option instead of some of the other graveyard traps. Since we dump so many cards in the grave, it would either summon the card we want, or would give us 2 monsters to link or XYZ with. It's not searchable like the other traps, but it's better technically.

Can you explain something to me? I don't understand why you'd include a copy of Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon as well as one of Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon Overload, since they basically have the same triple-attack effect. Why is that?

The effect of normal rebellion doesn't go off because you can't make it with an Xyz monster as material, so you play overload to OTK. It's kinda like a utopia the lightning situation.

Red eyes needs so much support😔, I wish they gave red eyes some new level 4 and lower monsters that special summon, a fusion trap, or a new fusion spell, give them a continuous spell or a field spell that searches other red eyes cards, and while your at it might aswell give them a new level 6+ boss monster, it can be a main deck monster, a xyz monster, or a fusion monster, or they can completely disgrad everything I just said and give them a level 2 or level 1 link monster, I don't really even like Red eyes like that but it's so sad to see DM and BE gets so much support and then see RE get crap support cards that further brick the deck...

How exactly does black stone of legend work? As in; if i got it right, you first spend a turn to summon it onto the field. Then it has to survive that turn. Then your next turn you can activate its effect, no? Isn't that really bad?

No, you normal summon it, then tribute it the same turn to summon red-eyes. It doesn't have to wait a turn.

@@DarkArmedDuelist Ah i see where i misread! I was under the impression that the tribute permitted the normal summon of a red-eyes monster. But since it's a special summon it makes sense. I only use 3 decks for nostalgia; DM, Blue eyes and red eyes. But i found that red eyes has been quite strong compared to my DM and blue eyes decks. Mind you, I don't really use hand traps and each deck must have an entirely unique extra deck. So red eyes dragoon is with the red eyes deck only. Specifically due to red eyes insight & fusion it's so easy to summon. Kind hard to counter it with either deck due to the 2 pops it has first. I can only think of blue eyes jet returning it to the hand (i don't have that card) as a counter. With DM i can't think of any solution other than MST or other spellcard destruction. Kind of a big yikes :D

I feel like only thing this deck is missing is archfiend black skull dragon with it's ability to negate activation of card effect when it attacks and its ability after it destroys a monster it allows you put red eyes black dragon from gy to deck and inflict 2400 damage to opponents life points
