Flame Swordsman, is a generic link 2, That works with Renaud, and Fire flint lady [Isolde] Where arf thou, searches any level 1, if you have a level 1 on the field, [magicians' souls, black stone] [vieler] Necro fusion, lets you fuse a red eyes, or dark magician monster from grave, using the materials you used with verte

I feel like Red-eyes could’ve been a cool equip focused archetype. Since Joey and by extension Red-Eyes Be Dragon was always the underdog and needed that little push, either through cheering or his sister I think Red-Eyes having actual cards that equip to them to provide that boost, compensating their weaknesses with some outside help, I think it could’ve been neat. Maybe it’s just me but ye Edit: Btw, because it grinds my gears a lot, why isn’t my boy, my man, my homeboy Flame Swordsman not have a Red-Eyes varient!? Come on Konami, I get it the iron knight is cool but Flame Swordsman in the original Joey boss monster, come on

I love these deck because red eyes is my favorit monster (alongside blue eyes). The only thing that i would add(and probably would make it worse) is rocket warrior, jinzo, blue flame swordsman and gilford the lightning, just for the feels of nostalgia and to be a third rate duelist with a fourth rate deck 😎😎😎😎

Dragoon is gonna be the next pot of greed, not by effect of banlistwise, but everyone knows what it does, and people are gonna joke around like it they say "what does pot of greed do?" for dragoon, someone will say "what does dragoon do?" because everyone knows what it does

Cool Red Eyes warrior deck. My favorite red eyes monster is red eyes slash dragon and one of my favorite warrior monster blue flamesword for duel links.

It's for what you make it. It all depends on the deck, it's not just "is it competitive or not" it honestly depends on the deck.

Sweet deck. I frankly love the Claw of Hairmos and the other 2. But also, Red Eyes Dragoon was a mistake. That is far too degenerate.... Especially when you consider Anaconda.

The problem isn't so much Dragoon, it's Red Eyes Fusion. Banning Red Eyes Fusion forces Dragoon to be played in its magician/red-eyes archetype. Dragoon is a good tradeoff for having both Dark Magician and Red Eyes in your hand/field at the same time.

It's there because it can equip itself from the hand and is a quick effect so you can freely search it with isolde and still get the equip Also it triggers both your gearfired and slash

I gotta say, you kinda lost me at Dragoon at the very end lol. I love the rest of your deck profile, it's a very awesome concept, but Dragoon's never been a favorite of mine. But that's just me. At least it's actually properly themed in a Red-Eyes deck and doesn't feel out of place. :)

Not to nitpick but Fang with Chain can only take Effect Monsters. Blue-Eyes is safe from it. Great profile, though. I've tried to build Red-Eyes Burn decks more than once and Gearfried the Iron Knight was my first-ever favorite card!
