Thanks for the review and yes they are awesome. 3d printing is getting to be the way to go now for after market stuff. I have even seen videos of 3d printed full size houses, concrete of course. Makes you wonder what else will be next. Cheers mate and take care.

Hi Nigel - thanks for the heads-up on this and I look forward to your forthcoming build. I have the Italeri kit myself and was tempted by the previous Red Fox Tornado GR.1/IDS set but then noticed that set was actually designed for the Revell 1/32 kit. So I've held off buying... the cost of the set and thought of sanding all the kit's gorgeous moulded detail off... then only to find it didn't actually fit. So I'm thinking I can now order the Tornado GR.4 with more confidence. Although the Red Fox stuff is certainly not cheap - it does look incredible in photos. I know you mentioned that Hannants tend to sell at full RRP, I think its worth pointing out - and to be fair - that they often offer a 10% discount for pre-ordering new stuff. There is no indication of any discount on this Red Fox set, but Hannants do have it priced £4.09 cheaper than the only other current UK source (that have it at £34.49); so I've pre-ordered it from Big H anyway... 🙂

Thanks for raising this Richard. I had forgotten about the 10% off for pre-orders. i think you made the right call on the GR1 set.. it does look slightly larger.. I must check them out.

Just curious. Is the instrument panel thin enough to let light threw?
