Red Hair Balayage - How to do a Foilayage while Covering Gray on a Redhead (easy tutorial!)

Not only do I share every single formula with you to create this look, I also break down every single step to create this beautiful copper hair color from start to finish.
I also created this easy tutorial while combining SO much of my other videos into one! In this video we not only do foilayage and balayage, we also cover grey with a root touch up all at the same time.

BEAUTIFUL!! I have been a cosmetologist for 20+ years. That being said, when I started out it was cap hilites only. Then came the foiling, which we didn't cover that much at all in school. So I worked so hard on perfecting my foiling technique! My clients looked like their hilites were growing out of their scalps. And now, they want it to look natural, lived in, with a root. 🤦 LOL Moral of the story : CONTINUING EDUCATION AND COLOR CLASSES THAT TEACH THE NEW TRENDS ARE SO IMPORTANT!! Back in 2002,i was assisting a great stylist and she always did the root and hilights over color and regardless of what level. i still do that technique .you are such giving person . Please create a video about highlights on natural curls, lighter red hair, and how to work with red hair with some pure white growing in.The sandy washed out look is a common problem for natural redheads. I definitely have some redhead clients ! And being one myself I found your technique very similar to what I do on my own hair . I love seeing that dimension in all the hair colors. Definitely the blondes outnumber us copperheads but they are money makers either way !

I get a bayalage,and then I use a copper color depositing conditioner. My hairdresser suggested to do all over red color, but I didn't like it as much. No one understands what I am trying to do. So, I just get a blonde bayalage and I tone it at home.
