Irinsem I But he still is a comic book character. The most real criminals aren't like him and have much human motives for there actions. Killing them would just make you a killer of a friend, a part of a family or a actually good person who just were forced to take the wrong way. It would curse more hatred and division than it would bring good.

Frankly, I doubt it. Maybe a flashback, but I feel even without the constraints of CN or Netflix, Young Justice at heart isn't dark enough to have Red Hood be a major player. (Though it's entirely possible that the writers will cave to fan pressure, which would be depressing.)

That's what I meant by "without the constraints of CN or Netflix"- they won't have anyone but the people within DC, who have both a better understanding/appreciation for the source material and no need to impose the restrictions of marketing to a younger audience, dictating what path they take. Hence, a more adult plot. (Sorry if I was unclear.) Make no mistake though- I'm all for a darker tone; I'd even be behind a Jason Todd pre or post Red hood arc if they can pull it off.

Writing wise, there are a lot of people who would have hated the fact that he suddenly came back without explanation and it would just been massive plot convenience. Mystery shouldn't come at the cost of good writing.

When I was 10 I remember alot of my friends making that phone call to kill Jason Todd. To see this at my age now seems surreal. I never knew this chapter of Todd's life but I am really digging this. I am glad they brought him back and the way they tied him into everything was really creative. Well Done!

That wouldn't work since the way Jason becomes Red Hood in the animated movie and the way he got to train was different. In the comic, Talia played a huge role in all of this, but it's very likely Jason just trained himself and got all the stuff he got in the Under the Red Hood movie
