We were fortunate enough to crowdfund our first episode, but we've still got a long way to be able to finish filming the remaining six episodes of our story. I love it when fans love something so passionately that they're like "Fine, I'll do it myself" when the big studios drop the ball and don't make the desired content. Red Hood is criminally underused in movies and tv-shows imo

The hurt and pain in his voice when he said he's not coming. Bruce isn't going to save him from the Joker.. Jason's pain isn't every hit he takes from the Joker, it's the pain knowing that his father won't come and save him from a monster At least that's how it felt

Jackson is a great Joker for sure! As far as the reactions, the choice we made was that he had totally given up on life by that point, as several months of torture had passed. That’s why there were very little reactions during that final beating. Like the idea is that he’s been through so much that he’s numb to it at that point. My b if that wasn’t communicated well enough.

This is better than I was expecting. It touched on concepts I rarely see explored and I really loved that. The whole training montage is honestly better done than some of the comics in my opinion. Fantastic short film, this was really well done.

@@iamdavidreardon yes, and it would be super cool to see more episodes, but I work in the film, tv, and games industry. A lot of super cool projects don’t always get the budget they deserve or are shut down by much bigger companies. I would be overjoyed to have a second episode, but if filming falls through (I will offer editing and VFX services for free for a project as cool as this) this is a really good place to end it. Sure there’s a lot more to the story, but it doesn’t feel wholly incomplete. It’s a very well done first episode.

WOW, THIS WAS...AMAZING!!!! Firstly, your directorial choices when it came to scene transitions were perfect! Especially regarding the sort of vision-fade to distinguish when Jason was falling back into unconsciousness. So good! Secondly, the actor who played Joker in this? Gosh, he has some grade A+++ talent! I mean, the line delivery of, "But you? You have this fire hidden behind your eyes! I can see it!" That was Joker. 💯 Thirdly, your costume design was awesome! Particularly the choice to have Jason in a simple t-shirt and jeans. It really helped demonstrate to viewers how young he truly is, I think! And his actor's mannerisms only led more greatness to that! Overall, SPECTACULAR job! Truly CANNOT WAIT to watch more ❤❤❤❤

The love and care that’s gone into this project has been why it’s turned out the way it has, despite having worked with less than a 3k budget on these first two episodes. Honestly, every dollar counts, but our goal for the remainder of the project (5 more episodes in season 1) is 15-20k. The script necessitates a certain level of funding for some of the bigger episodes we have coming up, due to costuming and location requirements. We should have another campaign going up soon, so keep your eyes out for that, but thank you so much for anything you’re able to contribute in advance 🙏🏼 This is truly a project by the fans for the fans, so we’re stoked to know passionate Jason Todd fans are finding it and loving it
