When accidents occur on the Westburg, Bardington, and Mountain Railroad, there are, well, Consequences. And no, I don't mean the kind of consequence where a Locomotive is punished, besides, accidents are, well, accidents. No, when I say Consequences, I mean *REAL CONSEUQENCEES,* Like Injuries and fatalities, completely destroyed rolling stock & equipment, etc. The Mountain Road is meant to be The REALISTIC Railroad on Crotoonia, and REALISTIC railroads have real consequences when accidents occur. While most "Accidents" in Crotoonia are harmless and "Luckily, No one was hurt," Up in the Mountain Road, high up in the peaks of Crotoonia, where the locomotives and railroad practices are realistic, Accidents have Real World consequences. The locomotives on the Mountain Road are like Thomas & his Friends. None of that Silly Body movement. No, it's real-world physics and real-world influences. Besides, the book series that Thomas & friends is inspired by, The Railway Series, is set in the Real World, and the only Unreal part about it is that the engines are alive, and that's it. They are still, at the end of the day, Industrial Machines, doing what machines like themselves are built to do. And yes, the Eyes & Mouths of my characters, can move around their forward ends at will, but even then, no Body Movement. They are machines, made of Solid Iron & Steel. Steel Doesn't bend and contort like plastic. Other engines, sure, they can bend and contort, it's Crotoonia After all, it's literally a cartoon landscape where most of the time, real world locomotive physics doesn't matter, but my OC's on the railways & railroads I have come up with do follow the laws of physics. In short, the Mountain Road, and their staff and their locomotives, are indeed more mature than the other locomotives & engines in Crotoonia, and their safety record shows. Even if they have accidents, they ensure that accidents are a rarity and don't happen constantly. Though rare, accidents will still occur. Railroads & Railways are dangerous places, and any mishap could involve the loss of a finger or a toe, maybe a hand or a foot, maybe an entire arm or a leg, or even lose an entire life. Trains are NO JOKE, and the Locomotives of the Mountain Road, as well as their competitors in the Class 2 Railroad companies the ShadowStone Railway Corporation, The North Iron Ridge Railroad, and even all the smaller class 3 Shortline & Narrow-gauge lumber railroads emphasize to ignorant people to stay clear of the tracks.
