pe battistini I’m considered a millennial and I think is honestly up there with the best. I would say 1. Blood Sugar 2. Californication 3. OHM. The other albums have some bangers but the albums as a whole are not very solid. Plus it is debatable that overall the best guitarist that the band has ever had is Dave Navarro (technical and skill wise). Johns sound and soul make him the better fit for the band though.

@@JAHCHILDREN.NTHEHAPYCIROFFRNDS it's one of the facts known about the production of this video. flea also wasn't happy with the bass take they used on the song. he wanted to re-record it. but they didn't let him. it was also flea's daughter that was responsible for them keeping the words "Ding dang dong dong ding dang dong dong ding dang" for the second chorus in around the world. she liked it better than the lines used in the first chorus "That life is beautiful around the world". it was supposed to be a placeholder until they got lyrics in. but at the request of flea's daughter they kept the scat singing in the song as the last chorus. btw the other kids in this video are flea's daughter's classmates.

Andrea S it kept getting rescheduled at the time of release. Even RHCP themselves called it the "year of nothing". Anthony was on drugs for a start. They had been without john for a couple years too. Just was a shit hole of a time for them

It’s amazing how music is a form of time travel. I remember the first time I ever saw this video. I was about 7 or 8 and I woke up with the flu in the middle of the night. I didn’t want to wake my mom up so I just went to the living room, laid on the couch and turned the TV on. The channel was on MTV and this song came on immediately. I remember thinking to myself “am I dreaming or is this real?” Lol It’s been one of my favorites ever since, and when see it, I remember that night perfectly.

when I saw the behind the scenes video of this, I was amazed, because Anthony's objective for this video was SPOT ON with how I felt when I first watched it the other day(I know, crazy). I was just enthralled by the cholo girls and the beauty of the female body. I hope Anthony reads this by the way, because I had a moment the other day while listening to Under the Bridge...I felt a feeling that I have never felt when listening to music. Being an opiate addict and really struggling with it, has caused a lot of animosity with me and my family, as well as other things. I was just able to connect to every single lyric of that song. But for me, this album has so many great crazy songs with a different sounds (due to Dave Navarro) that it should be much more appreciated. I love this song because of Flea's work. Coffee shop is just from another world. My friends, one big mop, pea, walkabout, falling into grace, etc. I love this album
