It's beautifully heartwarming see the moment when, after John's struggles at the beginning of the intro jam, he comes back onstage. Chad smiles and triggers the full power mode and Flea inmediatly runs to join him and rock every ass in LA out. It's fucking amazing how connected they are after +30 years playing together. Just enjoy every minute this historic band have left, fellas. Long live the Peppers and cheers from Spain!!

Knowing that John uses some 40 pedals and likely a few amps all together, it's rather surprising any sound comes out sometimes hahaha. As for an official problem, maybe that guitar was either out of time or malfunctioned.

Seems like since he’s been back he hasn’t gotten the volume he wants.. I think what it comes down to even more than that is he is someone who is very particular about his sound and he’s been solo and not performing live for a while so he’s just used to being able to do it himself.
