Absolutely, without a doubt. They still had their youthful exuberance and raw creativity but it was balanced with a sense of refinement and more discerning musical sensibility. A completely magical album. None of their other material even comes close. I seriously doubt anyone who says otherwise musical acumen.

Dunno. If You Have To Ask, off the same album, is probably even better than this masterpiece. Just listen to John's ode-to-Hendrix solo at the end of the song, over that funky groove... killer.
