RED Hot Fishing Up The Creek

Got up early to fish right up the top of a system we never go to. Fished deep rock bars and fallen timber with soft plastics. Was lucky enough to catch Mangrove Jacks

@@alexw4408 Cheers for the reply Alex. Sorry I stand corrected "Samaki Redic DS80" doing the damage, did Tom end up with any ?. I see you were burning your lure back a bit quicker where as Tom was trying to keep it in the strike zone a bit longer but the Jacks may of been a bit deeper. Would I be correct in saying that there were sunken trees or rocks in the area, I think you did mention a rock bar.

Hey Bax. There is some sticks halfway back to the boat but scattered. He had a plastic on as we were trying to sort out the bite pattern. I believe the twitching was drawing the fish from the shadow line or the fish cruising along the deep section to the lure. The burn was to try and entice a hit as it was sitting so long
