This was my first league and I had an awesome time with this build, there's so many resources to help you out and you can explore so much of the game (kinda jack of all trades builds, but I understand its not the swiss knife for one mechanic) but this is so good for newer players. One small correction regarding the ascendancy: You don't have to stand still for Ramakos, The shield charge counts as standing still. So all enemies are at negative resistances as you zoom or charge through a map. And the exploding node, it explodes the whole screen almost every few seconds, the chance to ignite numbers are rolled on every enemy so that 5 percent seems deceivingly slow.

Very true about Hinekora, even just a moderate amount of Ignite chance will turn it into insane passive screen clear.

I played this this league, really amazing league starter, comes online early and allows you to passively level with the AOE. Once you farm currency you can do a small swap into fulcrum self ignite, which is RF but better damage and almost unkillable.

@@arjunratnadev you can turn off RF for the maven fights last phase if you are not comfortable with the beams that disable your regen. takes a bit longer but is infinitely safer. And the memory game is pretty easy once you do it a few times and try to remember it in patterns. It also really helps to know that after right ALWAYS comes top. this lets you just mentally ignore some steps so every time the memorygame goes right that is -1 step you need to remember

@@arjunratnadev i skip rf completely and just go for default detonate dead ignite while converting all phys taken to other. hinekora takes care of all mobs. and farm ultimatum and blights endlessly you will have a ton of currency to pay other bossers to finish those difficult stressful 1 on 1 bosses to get all void stones and map favor slots. after a comfortable level i was able to clear a t17 with some deaths and unlocked the 5th map device slot. during campaign i use srs with infernal legion for smooth kinda lazy campaign with no gem swaps no fire trap. once you get mark of the red covenant and 2 calling wands your good till white maps.

The strength of this build is how insanely easy you can get immortal against 99% of the content with some pretty cheap gear + defiance. Also the single target dps barely matters if you do content that is actually suited for this build. Its 100% a must to play the ignite prolif version of this build and with that 99% of your damage and clear speed comes from the hinekoras explosion + prolif which scales with enemy hp and not your damage really.. your damage just needs to be enough to kill off some white mobs to get the chain going. When the chieftain rework came out I was doing t16 juiced oppenheimer expeditions on 500k-1m dps and cleared the expeditions in 5seconds. You can clear harvests in seconds with this, delve afk, 1m dps is even enough to farm up to 27ish simulacrums. after that it gets really rough if the bosses dont spawn in a big explosion so it could take forever to kill them at that point. Yes that dps is really ass against bosses and you would not do ubers with it, etc. Sure at higher investment you can also do ubers or t17s but at that point and cost of investment you just switch to a different build if you wanna do this content efficiently You also dont bring a LA legion farmer into ubers and you dont bring a zhp ice trapper that is made to oneshot ubers into juiced map content ^^ Yes RF is more of an allrounder in that it can do most content without problems, eventho its not efficient. But if you stick to what its good at and abuse the strength it comes online insanely early and can do really juiced content super fast It is my go to build if I wanna farm expedition/blight or similar content with high density for my week1 mageblood. People like to say its "just" a leaguestarter to clear your atlas points, etc. but if you use it where the build shines its PLENTY viable to use to farm endgame juiced content efficiently

RF is definetly my favorite way to beat the campaign. Very straightforward and simple. I'll be playing SSF only next league, and I plan to start as RF Inquisitor, eventually switching to Hexblast of Contradiction, with thr big goal being CaptainLance's tri-stacker.

Love your content and I think this was a nice video --- Want to weigh in as I ran this build this league. To me biggest con is how expensive it gets at the highest levels. I'm currently in the 5-6M single target fire trap DPS (toward the bottom of the top 100 on POE ninja). This is an estimate of what the gear costs (including purchase price plus corruptions prices): Double corrupted mageblood - 300 Div Helical Ring - over 150 (base is 90 plus crafting costs) Rune Dagger - 40-60 crafted Helm ~ 50 Body armour ~ 50-100 for double corrupted Boots ~ 20+ for double corrupt (single corrupt 8) Shield ~ 20+ for double corrupt (single corrupt 8) Gloves ~ at least 30 with decent eldritch implicits Amulet ~ 200+ for double corrupt defiance of destiny with 42% res and decent fire and life Adorned - 100+ for 143%+ Watcher's eye - 100+ Aspect of carnage jewels (forbidden flesh/forbidden flame) - 150 plus 3 clusters - 40 to 60 Perandus pact - base is 8 plus double corrupting mine probably worth over 50 Unaturalin instinct - 2.5 plus double corrupt 7 other jewels - minimum of 20 each + more for double corrupts Total for mine currently 1.5K - 2K div and I still need to spend more. That being said. I actually like the build and how strong it is and if I play next league, I will likely do it again, b/c now I feel like i know the build and POHX is a good starter to make the game approachable.

2 mirror is rly bad. 200-300 div can get you an unbeatable 40mil dps ss trickster. It's really meme level for rf at this point. At least even flicker strike 2 mirrors are like what 100mil dps. Worst of all the long king of RF since the harvest days are long gone with the flat dmg nerf and you are compensating with massive wasted divs and a non pure with clunky fire traps.

I play juggernaut armour stacker and RF is the best league starter for it. U get to farm currency without signifficant investement as ascendency will carry you .

League start this every league. I just stack some Intelligence from whatever i can get under lvl 10 and use SRS and Holy Flame Totem till RF. Way less painful than HFT and Fire wall.

Yup! Determ lost roughly half of its base armor, Grace probably will, too. Very real possibility that Phys Taken as Ele gets a nerf, or it's going to be the solution for a ton of builds.

i dont see the use of MB here. if you want to solve phys damage you have to convert it therefore you need pyroshock or kaom belt. or you go armour with jug and either brass dome or armour applies to chaos damage. in the case of jug it would be useful for those armour flasks but still mb cant activate unique flasks for you so you need charge generation unique belt not mb.

​@@samisau1502dont really need to "solve" phys damage, just get coil and maybe a bit of armour and ure fine for the content rf is gonna do in terms of phys dmg, once u go adorned with life jewels too phys is nothing, soul eater mobs can still auto attack u to death but i guess that got nerfed

Got the character to around 8 mil dps and near immortal for around 30-35 div. Defintively could have payed less for some upgrades so say 25-30. As long as you know what map mods to avoid the build can certainly do t17 maps
