Your Ruby and Garnet jewelry is so beautiful. My last baby is a July 29th baby. We almost didn't make a july birthday, but they helped it along. I've always loved Rubies, and you have some truly wonderful pieces. Love your ring so much! Im so sorry about your loss of Zorro. I know how heartbreaking it is. He was a part of your family for 19 years, and my heart goes out to you. Thank you for sharing some of your lovely jewelry. Big hugs. ❤

Greetings from sunny England! Another great video Sylvia, thanks so much for sharing. Red gemstones are among my favourites, there's something uniquely opulent about that shade. It's always amused me that rubies are many, many times more valuable than garnets, when so often I prefer the deeper, pigeon-blood red of less expensive garnets. Your garnet cluster ring and pendant are utterly gorgeous! As a fellow jewellery collector, your KZbin channel is such a treat. I just love to see your special treasures, and be inspired to hunt out some new ones of my own! It's lovely to hear the personal stories attached to the various pieces too (very sweet that you gifted that lovely ruby brooch to your dear mother-in-law, and now have it as a memento of her ). There is so much warm sentiment, and endless treasured memories associated with jewellery. Far more than any other possession, in my view. I so appreciate your enthusiasm for all beautiful jewellery, regardless of its intrinsic value. That you emote just as much over a stunning, well-designed costume necklace, as a ring studded with precious gems touches my heart, and tells me you are a true jewellery aficionado and the best kind of collector - a passionate one! The same was true of the late, legendary movie star and jewellery collector Dame Elizabeth Taylor. I must share a little story with you. One Summer, an old friend visited Liz at her home for an informal, gossipy lunch by the pool. On her way over, the lady passed a street vendor selling inexpensive costume jewellery from a humble stall. Her eye was immediately drawn to the prettiest Indian costume bangles, studded with faux glass gemstones in every deep, vivid jewel colour. The bangles were inexpensive but gorgeous, many hued and multi-faceted, they glittered and sparkled in the sunlight like real diamonds, rubies, sapphires, amethysts and emeralds. They were simply irresistible. On a whim, the lady bought up a stack of them to give to Elizabeth, as a fun gift. Imagine how thrilled she was, when her famous friend tore open the tissue, and shrieked with excitement on seeing the colourful contents within. Her eyes were alight with excitement as she pulled off the priceless platinum and diamond estate bracelet she was wearing, and in its place, gleefully threw on the entire stack of gorgeous, glowing arm candy. Would you believe, those inexpensive bangles became a firm favourite in Elizabeth's Summer jewellery wardrobe. Her friend was utterly delighted that her spontaneous, last minute gift was such a hit. Dame Elizabeth stored them as carefully as her fine jewellery, and wore them proudly for many years to come, right alongside her opulent real gemstones and precious metals (including of course, the legendary Krupp Diamond ring). That true story proves beyond question, Dame Elizabeth, just like yourself, was the real deal, a TRUE jewellery enthusiast. God bless you dear Sylvia, and please keep your feelgood videos coming! Much love from an English kindred spirit. XXX

@@glamdolly30 , Hello!! What a joy to read your lovely words!! I bought Elizabeth Taylor’s book on her jewelry years ago. She was a wonderful lady and a generous kind soul. I gift my beaded jewelry to friends and enjoy the idea of spreading love to others. I grew up very poor so I see beauty and value where some do not. I hope someday I can visit the UK. I send you my sincere thanks and will look forward to hearing from you again!!😊❤️❤️❤️

❤Hi Sylvia, I hope you've been doing well, I know you have been busy with lots of packing, for your big move ❣️ I love your beautiful Bohemian garnets, and all of your pretty jewelry, the bracelet from India. I can't believe that man tried to steal your ruby, right out of your cross during your cruise, I'm glad he was caught. You're very fortunate to be able to travel so often, and you even saw Lisa Marie while Presley, while shopping in a jewelry store. God Bless, May she rest in peace . I'm so very sorry to hear about your cat , Sylvia 🙏🏼❤️✝️ Thank you for sharing all of your Stunning jewelry, I enjoyed listening to you and your stories, Sylvia Take Care & God Bless 🥰
