This is an scd scale, where PJ clearly has better attributes in intelligence, not a game of cat and mouse. As the guy above said, RJ had a lot of influence, he had contacts in the police and an entire organization with him. PJ was someone with a disadvantage, who didn't have many people to help him and who, in addition to finding Red John, would have to prove that he was the man he wanted to kill.

No. It's a Full-Scale Comparison. Red John only could "play" with Patrick 'cause of his absurd influence, carrying him in full scale because of Cat and Mouse and Influence Building (probably Real Life Situation w/ Influence). You misunderstood his intelligence. Bro has NO great feats of intelect and cognition/FSIQ. Patrick slams in Intelligence/Intelect, Full-Scale Intelligence Quotient, Overall EQ (with some difficult), SQ, maybe some cats of manipulation and deception, cold reading/seeing through people, perseverance, tactics, planning (six month plan to catch red john is goated) etc. In outsmarting categories, Patrick wins in Fixed Situation, Non Fixed Situation, Real Life without Influence, Academics, Gambling and Overall Outsmarting high diff at max (Imo)

I believe that the difficulty is less because the Red John case is absurd to solve but Red John himself is not as intelligent as JANE, in the game of cat and mouse Jane should have died in the 2nd season (even at the end of the first if Red wanted to)

Red John is overrated in oustmarting 'cause of his insane influence throught the series. Red John does not have great feats of intelligence, intelect and cognition, and definetively doesn't take Thinking against Patrick 😭 Patrick's six month plan is insanely well executed too. Patrick has great Adversity Quotient after being in critical scenarious, exposure to success (as a fake psychic), his wife and children d34th and many other casualities. McAllister is just an psych0, bro doesn't have many AQ feats too, he only is apathic or smt like this Red John is insane in Cat and Mouse, but in outsmarting Patrick high diffs at MAX (I'm talking serious) - It's my opinion too, pretty logic I think

@UsuarioOpinativokk I think your aregument makes sense but it definitkey doesnt take away whats hapoened within the series, Red John has outsmarted Patrick many times and thats a fact not an opinion, its literaly in the series, Although yes RJ does have insane influence and recourse its actually how he uses his influence in a way which outsmarts patrick, RJ's plan was too insane, and much better than anything patrick has came up with, much more complex, Strategical, Deceptive and overall well executed, RJ isnt ovverated i think he is narritivley and normaly a outsmarting beast, Although yea i agree he dosent have much feats in intellect, AQ, Cognitive, the AQ feats i would think of would probably be, Acting under PJ and PJ not knowing idk, or it could just be not taking action against rigsby when he pushed him down, knowing if he acted he would be first suspect, again not much feats in AQ, But nontherless his EQ, SQ, Deception, Psychology, Manipulation, Thinking, Reasoning, Strategy, Planning are INSANE, in outsmarting based on what ive seen RJ Wins no matter what, High Diff MAX, but since its full scale acounting all things, RJ wins Extreme Diff (-), i just dont see how patrick can even compete against RJ anymore, i just dont see it, just my opinion tho

You said Red John outsmarted Patrick many times in the series: but it wasn't purely relationed to intelectual, cognitive or mental cats. Much times McAllister used his influence to get away from dangerous situations, and sometimes it was almost an escape from Patrick great progress. What RJ's plan are you talking about, exactly? Sorry I watched the series some months ago, I won't remember everything, so please clarify Bro hasn't much feats in Thinking too, what makes you have this take? Thinking is the general ability or capacity to formulate, develop or create ideas, theorys etc. or reflect about things. I don't remember anything like that in RJ. Not so strong in reasoning too, but unbeatable in prediction/foresight. People always underrate Patrick's manipulation and Deception too, it's closer than it looks like. Patrick understands the human nature, and read people like books. He has more practical abilities and talents, knowing how to manipulate others too. High in Verbal deception, direct, individual, mass and maybe emotional manipulation. I can be mistaken about some things. I'm not fluent in english
