Today we are visiting an abandoned Red Lobster in Orlando on West Colonial Drive. Red Lobster Hospitality, LLC is an American casual dining restaurant chain headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The company has operations across most of the United States (including Puerto Rico and Guam) and Canada, as well as in China, Ecuador, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates; as of June 23, 2020, the company had 719 locations worldwide. In 2024, Red Lobster closed many of its restaurants and then filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after securing over $100 million in financing commitments from its lenders. The company has also entered a stalking horse agreement to sell itself and have its lenders manage it.

I used to work there. I'm glad it's closed !!!! I broke my ankle and couldn't work and they tried to write me up. The new Corporate boss was one of managers wives and she told me I should do better to be a team member.

I worked here for 3 years, doubles almost everyday, no breaks and multiple positions and have nothing from it but resume experience.

That was the worse Red lobster ever , It was called "The Hood Red Lobster " .. Golden Corral (closed ) next to it ate there many times ! Across the street is The Crazy Buffet , Awesome !

I lived in Orlando about 15 years ago. I don't remember this Red Lobster. Is the Red Lobster across from the Fashion Square Mall still open? Thanks for sharing! I miss the hot dogs at Hot Dogs Heaven.

There's a bunch of abandoned places if you go right down OBT going down towards the Florida Mall there's about five or six different restaurants including a Pollo Tropical, Arby's, Burger King, a Captain D's that turned into a KFC. It's just crazy.

I drove down that way on Friday and saw the Pollo Tropical was boarded up. It looks like they are rebuilding the Burger King.

Such a shame to see what looks ( although it did say it was condemned ) a perfectly good building go to waste & to fall further into disrepair ,Can't believe what looked like homeless ppl living there , I stayed on the west colonial drive on my very first visit to orlando (first of many )back in 1995 in a best western which had it's own bar & was an awesome little hotel , i remember going to a i think it was called ( & ppl correct me if i'm wrong ) a maryland chicken shop just with in walking distance from the hotel it was really nice food with big portions but over the yrs i've seen it went right down hill & got some really bad reviews until it closed a i think couple years ago..................... shame
