Red Mulberry

I am in NYC and I just found these within the weeds of 3 of my neighbors unruly backyard spilling out and over my fence. I’m grateful now its thriving here after seeing this video and will be conscious of its scarcity. We have beautiful birds and I’m happy they will be fed ❤

Good video, I've bought red mulberry seed from Sheffields, and I've bought plants from Northland Nursery near Waterdown. I've always wondered if I was getting red mulberry or a hybrid.

Does anyone know the maximum distance red mulberries can be apart in the understory for pollination to occur? I have two I recently found, but they are just over 100 feet apart. Also not sure on genders until spring. 🤷🏽‍♂️

According to the parable of the weeds in Matthew 13:24-30, Jesus said that when faced with weeds growing among the wheat, "Let both grow together until the harvest," meaning that we should not try to prematurely separate the good from the bad, as the final judgment belongs to God, and at the harvest time, the good will be gathered while the weeds will be removed and burned; essentially, don't try to pull out the weeds yourself, as you might damage the good wheat in the process. The "weeds" represent evil people or false teachings that mix in with the good The "harvest" represents the end of time when God will judge everyone The servants (representing us) should not try to immediately separate the good from the bad, as this could cause harm God will ultimately discern who is good and who is evil at the final judgment
