Red munia (aka strawberry finch, red avadavat) pair

Ran into this pair rather unexpectedly! What a pleasant surprise it was!
In case anyone is wondering about the music, that day the local folks seemed to be having some kind of religious function in the village temple...I saw quite a few of them dressed in their best attires making their way to the temple, some on foot and some by their vehicle. With the powerful loudspeakers on, there was no way I could escape the music no matter how far away I went from the source...the wind carried it everywhere :) This was at the fag end of the program. About ten minutes later, peace returned to the place.
