Red One Movie Review

Dude, finally... and I mean FINALLY someone who doesn't hate on this movie. I'm not saying it was perfect, but since I love Christmas as a Holiday, I also had a blast! I expected some goofy-ass blank comedy with no plot, but there was a decent message about greedy nature of people during christmas holidays and I loved that. Also the folklore and especially Krampus character was great, the actor really put his heart into this role.. everytime he was on screen, I smiled. Not laughed, but smiled.. because these things are exactly the reason why I had a great time. Also the fact that our cinema was FULL (I went to see the movie on Saturday) tells me that even Czech people care about american christmas and the way they narrated the storyline :D Kinda wish Gryla had more screentime and Garcia as well, these characters could made the movie even better, if executed properly. But anyway! EDIT: I suppose those people who hate on this movie expected some Oscar-worthy performances and 0 CGI, but havingmovie like this with this storyline and narrative.. you can't expect nothing less that a 200% hollywood budget, I'm sorry. I wish people actually went to the cinema to see the movie themselves, instead of listening to some douchebags telling crap about this comedy and stealing that opinion as their own. That's how I see that.

Agreed! This wasn’t perfect but it was a welcome escape for the Christmas holiday.
