Crazy how we went from N.M.H. to Phantom Skate. The contrast between the two starting themes says a lot. N.M.H. introduces Travis as a mysterious person, who you soon find out is capable of killing every person within the mansion. Phantom Skate introduces Travis as this destructive and deadly force going up against something just as deadly as him, but Travis and the player know what they’re getting into, so you’re ready to beat the shit out of Mr. Blackhole.

But… the starting theme for nmh3 is “Start the Game.” Unless you’re talking about the first boss theme of each game but then you’d be wrong about “N.M.H.” being the theme for the first boss because that’s “Hell on Bare Feet” unless you’re talking about the introductory cutscene for Travis specifically but then you got both themes wrong because that’s beam “Beam Katana Chronicles” in the first game and “Henshin (Full Armor Mode)” in nmh3… what?????

@@matteopoldrugo9535 Real talk though, I’m talking about the transition from the first song you hear in the NMH tutorial to the actual first boss fight in 3. Even Start The Game already kind of tells you that Travis has definitely gotten stronger in NMH3’s tutorial, and immediately throws you into the boss fight like right after. Death Metal’s theme isn’t even that threatening to begin with since he’s the tutorial boss, and NMH has already established Travis as a somewhat decent assassin within the first cutscene. I know what you’re trying to say, but I kind of already explained everything in the first comment…
