@@peacfl9610 it wasn't a common stance back there. Also it probably was the trend at those years. It's cool tho. Also the most pistols (except revolvers and some other exceptions), weren't that powerful and that hard to carry. It isn't the same carrying a Deagle or carrying a M1911. Still, if you practice, it's not a problem.

It really dates back to the European cavalry. Cavalry didn’t have two free hands to shoot with, so shooting with one hand became normal and everyone else adopted it. It stayed that way until around the 1970s.

It all comes down to tradition, really. Handguns used to be treated as an extension of the arm, therefore you shoot one handed. That's how it was for centuries. After WWII, doctrines simply shifted to the modern two hand grip, but I have seen some people return to shooting one handed

as for the P38 and MP-40, they're not here because he's only showing the guns that were added from the mod (though I don't remember if the StG-44 being added to this mod, the Germans still probably use the MkB-42(H))

I stated to the other guy, yeah maybe Im wrong. But, so what if "I don't know"? do you I need to go to a forum to understand about the animation? or do I just need t osee it? Is that how game works now? And look, the other guy explained that its not lazy, and proceed to explain why. you know why? because it does look like a lazy reload animation, which you can see in half life (1) and counter strike 1.3 among others within the era. dont pretend "put mag out then in" was never a reload animation back in the day, unless you're too young to have played them, then no judgement but possibly you don't know what you're talking about.
