I just finished red queen (the first book’ and there were a few red flags about maven like how much he loves his mother or his hate for Julian he pretty suspicious.But like mare said “He gave me everything I wanted and I was blinded by it”.Books like these have really opened my mind their storyline and plot I probably would’ve never thought of before reading it
