Avid watcher from the Philippines here, thanks for trying our famous desserts. Ensaymada does go well with coffee, its very common to have it for meryenda (mid morning or afternoon snack). And the flan cake is very common in bakeries except that its made with a regular vanilla chiffon cake. Im super glad you enjoyed them, i loved watching you devour half a cake in one sitting, wish i could do that. By the way we have a newer creation from very creative Filipino momtrepreneurs, the mango graham flan float, which has layers of graham crackers, sweet cream, ripe mango slices and topped with an entire leche flan. Im sure you will enjoy that, maybe a nice Filipino friend near you can make you one since red ribbon doesn'tt have it yet im sure.

Really love their ensaymadas!!!!! When I was not vegan yet. I’m sure the cake is great too. Ube sweets and desserts have been around for the LONGEST time. Since I was young, and I’m 52 lol it’s been around way before me too. I’m glad people around the world are now getting to know and eating these👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻💕💞
