I like that you go a bit more into detail in your non-spoiler parts than other booktubers, I think. Makes it easier for me to decide if I want to read it. I had heard about this series before, but didn't really have an idea what it would be like. Now I'm more intrigued! Also, I had no idea there was more than this trilogy. I'm excited what you're going to say about Lightbringer. I think it's an awesome series!

Has a bit of that feel in the beginning but by the end of the first trilogy and then certainly the next set becomes something truly special IMO

In addition to your reasons to continue after the first three....Brown's writing excels so much he almost seems like a completely different author. His prose in the back half is superior to the initial trilogy. Not to mention, we finally get different POV characters.

Just finished Morning Star. What a series! Golden Son is one of the highest octane reads I’ve ever had.

Will be starting Dark Age next week. Loved how Iron Gold broadened the scope with the multiple POV’s. I’m with you each book makes me like this series more.

I was always skeptical of this series as well because I really dislike the Hunger Games, but I started reading it over this past week and I thought book 1 was just alright. The whole Hunger Games setting for most of it really took me out of it for the most part. Golden Son though? Wow it's been incredible so far and I can't wait for Morning Star.

It gets progressively stronger. The books after the first trilogy are even stronger IMO. Let me know your thoughts as you move through the series.

​@@Talking_Story Oh yea I'm very excited particularly for Dark Age, just based on the name alone it sounds really cool. I'm about 80% of the way through Golden Son right now and it hasn't missed a beat for me yet.
