Neptunus I believe doesn't work like kidney stone. Kidney stone gives you a extremely high rate of fire that decreases rapidly. But this isn't how neptunus works, it will charge up and make you spray lots of tears but it doesn't give you stats. So getting it would basically be useless if you don't normally like the item. One of my personal favorite combos is rock bottom, red stew, soy milk, and kidney stone.

@@VikingGamers1155 You don't need to have stats, though. If you take it, it's basically just a damage up, as long as you allow it to charge between rooms. Obviously it isn't as good as the combination you used as an example, but it's still pretty damn good.

The difference is that twisted pair still fires forward, while Conjoined shots fire at an angle and are harder to account for. That said, conjoined would have been pretty alright here. At least, Conjoined+Homing has always been pretty good in my experience.

I actually checked the item pool for the ultra secret room. First at all: Interesting choice. Should have known it gonna be all red itemsxD Second: There are actually a bunch of really good ones D6/Sacred Heart and a bunch of bad ones Anemic/Moms Heels. And to say: "They are not worth" is like saying any other room that contains items is not worth checking out.

@@nyaaguy354 Sure it's just as good as any other pool, say for example, the item room! It has good and bad items, but the main difference is that to access the item room all you need is a key, while the ultra secret room usually is hard to find and even harder to have the means to access aswell, because only a few items could grant you access to it. It wasn't guaranteed a good item before either, it could be Laz Rags, Breath of Life, Guardian Angel, Dead Sea Scrolls, Celtic Cross and so on, but the odds were at least in your favor slightly to make up for the difficult of finding the Ultra Secret room, but not anymore. It's not worth it to HUNT for it anymore, but if it shows up naturally in your way, sure.

you might already know this, but the ultra secret room is pretty much always diagonal to a "special" room (treasure/shop/challenge/etc) so using the red key off a special room is much more likely to get you into the ultra secret room

pokédex streak day 27! sandshrew is #27 in the dex and i do like sandshrew’s and subsequently sandslash’s overall design and aesthetics. a fairly strong ground type pokemon that’s a classic. overal i’d give sandshrew a 6/10

Sinvicta ultra secret rooms cant be touching any rooms. they spawn diagonally, meaning on corners. so its best to use the red key on the middle of a room so you can check both corners if possible the way you did at 24:25. it would be really awesome to see you get them with greater ease. (secret room makes contact with several rooms, super secret room makes contact with only 1 room, red room makes contact with no rooms directly but does so diagonally :)

That was just a normal trap door to the next floor. Dirty bedrooms give trap doors like the ones that spawn at the end of a boss room, clean bedrooms give crawlspaces. You can differentiate because a crawlspace has a ladder and a trapdoor doesn't have one

Fun fact the Ultra Secret Room has its own unique item pool, that only contains "Red items" So you could get Brimstone, Sacred Heart, 2Spooky, Spirit of the Night, Red Stew, Eye of Belial, Magic Mush, OR Mom's Lipstick, Blood Puppy, Mom's Heels, Data Miner, Kamikaze, Plan C, Kidney Bean, and Pinking shears for some reason. It's about balanced for items you could get.

Most people say rock bottom is the best item in the game, sure its pretty good but I doubt it's the best item in the game. 1st: its extremely rare to get it and by the time you get it you're already on the late floors, rendering it basically useless 2nd: it's too reliant on other items for it to be powerful, and literally any item in the game can be powerful if combined with the right item. In my opinion the best item in the game is brimstone because it can carry you through most of the game by itself and while having base stats, and since the chances of you getting no stat ups through an entire run is basically impossible brimstone can always get better

It can carry you everywhere and you don't have to rely on tears up anymore. My best run was with isaac and base dps-stats mother. Day 591 Days left until the end of the year 27 So I'm waiting for the new year hollidays, they're 11 days long in Russia and I'm ready just to eat and sleep. We cook very much for new year, every family does, and then we eat what we made for some days and everything is really tasty and like it's a whole week of just eating and sleeping and relaxing. I really need that. Also all the staff gets the so called "financial help" (from the university) and the 13th payment. It's like an extra payment equal to the normal paycheck. December is always financially convenient. So I'm just ready for the sleeping and eating part in the beginning of the next year! This will be the first big celebration in our new home, which makes it even more fun. About work, I wrote my chief today about my worries. He promised me that everything will be alright and great, there's no need to panic. So I've calmed down. I'll just trust the process and my executives. They respect and appreciate me, so everything will turn our great. At least that's what I hope for.
