Most people know the version of this song recorded by The Cyrkle, but it was actually written by Paul Simon. He and Art never recorded it, but they did perform it live, and that's where my version draws its influence. When I asked my middle child what songs he remembers most from bedtime when he was young, this was the first one that came to mind.
