I always look at these videos as a reassurance that lessons have been learned. Maybe that’s why “Mayday” has to keep repeating episodes. Fewer disasters to report on. Which is a good thing, but I am getting tired of seeing reruns marketed as new content.

The Boeing 737 has a 3+3 seating configuration, but the interior shots show a 3+2 configuration.
@isppilot34593 ай бұрын
Also, the boarding scene shows the door of an Airbus 320 variant, not a 737.
@sunnyfon9065Ай бұрын
In newer ACI episodes, they always use 2-3-2 seating configuration in nearly every episode. Notice that in A320 and B737 episodes, they show 2-2 configuration seating instead of 3-3. They never film the left side of the cabin, because the whole cabin obviously looks like a wide-body plane, not a narrow-body plane like the A320 and B737. The cabin they used looks too big for Saab 340/2000, Twin Otter, and other small airliner episodes.

So the pilot had a problem with his instruments that was not considered large enough to ground the aircraft. Perhaps there was more to the instrument failure then is considered in the video. If the instruments were giving the captain false readings anything is possibly since it was pitch black out and the captain would not have had a visual. Horizon
@JohnDoe-tb3rv4 ай бұрын
How does disorientation happen unless the instrumentation is broken?
@The04prasanga19 күн бұрын
That's the exact question I had too. Even if you disoriented, the display clearly show what is the pitch angle, bank angle etc where pilot can reorient himself. Sometimes, we also disorient when finding places by google map in an unfamiliar city in a foreign country. But we quickly reorient ourselves with the directions of the map

What do we know now? This is not a B737 max I think. So that autopilot error can be ruled out. The pilot was flying the plain manually after all.
