"You have control over the Hulk... until you don't". I can't wait.

Chekhov's 'Control of the Hulk' If someone claims to have control of the Hulk at the end of an issue they're about to be smashed by the Hulk during the next.

"...until you don't." Definitely a factual understatement. 🙀

There was a Disney XD cartoon called "Avengers Assemble" where Red Skull wears some Iron-Man armor with a similar color scheme.

You forgot to mention that Red Skull has the power of Ultron in his suit. Which is about as bad as bad can get. Then he releases the Hulk bomb on top of that. The last issue is going to be absolutely INSANE!! Out of all the villains in Marvel, I always thought the Red Skull is the most EVIL character you possibly can have, he just doesn’t care about anything or anyone period and you can’t bargain with him at all !! He literally is the absolute opposite of Captain America. Skull is so extreme in his views that it’s absolutely terrifying and in this series, he has control over the United States military, Ultron and as of the second to last issue, he now has control over the Hulk.

Absolutely love this series. Honestly I thought it was more of an Avengers dark knight returns. But it has been a blast. I loved hearing Zadarsky talk like this was just a fun idea from forever ago. Bout to be a masterpiece when done. Beautiful elseworld story. Love it. Cannot wait to binge it all again when its over. Some great covers too.

It's been a wild ride as a longtime Avengers fan, the pieces of the puzzles of the Red Skull's plan and the Avengers finally assembles to one last fight, has led to this. Avengers: Twilight is so amazing. Can't wait to pick up the finale on May 29th.

Is this a “What-If” book or an alternate Marvel Comic Timeline (e.g., Earth-30127)?
@sawtooth8089 ай бұрын
For all intents and purposes, yes.

I love much of your choice of wording and level commentary, I'm tan also but often get ridiculed for being outspoken or being white washed, it's mostly peoples cognitive dissonance overriding their better thinking, or simply they don't want the truth from a metro, confident, and educated black kid lawl. the least interesting and most tiresome people complain about fiction reflecting reality. media literacy is important

Indoctrination goes both ways, thinking that storming a building will get election results change is one way and thinking that storming black businesses and burning cities will make people less racist is another.

The main objective of Jan 6th was to get the electoral college ballots, and burn them. Think of when Pablo Escobar had M19 storm Colombia’s main court house, the real reason was to destroy evidence against him. If those interns hadn’t grabbed the metal box with the ballots in it things would have turned out differently.

Blurd, dude I love ur channel! I think u got a really awesome and unique perspective and take on comics and I catch every video u drop, and I respect how some real life events can be mirrored into comics but at the same time I as I don't want this to become a political forum because it would just take away some of the magic from comics i gotta say while I try to respect everyone's opinions and the right to have those opinions Jan 6th was an American tragedy but not how I worry it will b recognized in 100, 1000 years down the line. Those people who were worried about the government that have all been branded as criminals even the ones who didn't enter or trespass into government property and some of them arr still being locked up. And every single one of them even the ones who were just there like in the area not even protesters are all under surveillance! And worse yet at a time we truly need them every air Marshall, u kno the guys that started flying with commercial flights after 911 have been resigned since Jan 6 to shadowing anyone who flew into town that day. Look into it if u don't believe me. We have questionable individuals fanning into the US daily who catch flights all over the country which is the exact type of thing those Marshall's were put there for but they aren't looking into the newbies, no none of them. They are all flying with people who just happened to have flown into DC on or around the 6th of January. So u think that those people were incorrect in worrying about the government? I believe in America I don't believe in most politicians though, I put my faith in the hardworking mid class regular people who deserve better than what we have had from either party for a long long time. It's just a shame that our leaders have forgotten to also put their faith in us and the fact that it don't matter what color ur skin is or if u go to church or if ur into comics or u prefer nonfiction we are all Americans and we are only strong when we are united!

My problem is that real world events shouldn't be in comics, because they're supposed to be an escape from reality
@xvariable15219 ай бұрын
Shouldn't? Captain America was punching Adolf in the face before America entered WW2. Your statement isn't supported by the history of this medium
@jtthomas55689 ай бұрын
that's not how fiction of any kind works. grow up

Captain America fought in World War II and punched Hitler in the face. Should those be removed too? Reality sucks because bad people make it suck. So let's make it better.

In movies and TV shows, they have fictional characters who have had some form of trauma from a fucked-up event in their lives that could be based on that piece of history. Mac Taylor from CSI: NY for example lost his wife on 9/11. Should we ignore how fucked up 9/11 was because his wife didn't exist?
