I'd love to see some videos on troubleshooting when the machine gremlins come out & how to correct it (backing up the machine design, etc). What you've posted the last couple weeks has already been so helpful and improved my process!

Oooohhhh! So glad I found you! I bought my Amara 20 three years ago. One month later I was diagnosed with breast cancer ( for the second time!). So it was quite a while before I felt well enough to play. My dealer absolutely SUCKS as far as training and education! I have taken their beginning glass and learned only that this lady is a friend of the owner and that she has made some amazing quilts. I went to their longarm club and was told that they mostly have Grammils so they wouldn’t be able to help me! Frustrating! I’ve watched a kabillion KZbin videos and have done about 50 edge to edge quilts. I got it! But, anything custom or free motion is beyond me! I have saved up to go to Academy next summer. I’m always hungry to learn. This is the best red snapper video I’ve found! Thank you!

That is so kind of you to say! Do you also have Pro Stitcher? Let me know any way I can help you. It may lead to another video!
@dianawilson9326Ай бұрын
Yes. I have Pro Stitcher Pro. My mother was an avid quilter, when she passed, I used the money I got from her estate to buy the whole enchilada! My home has a third car garage…all finished and with heat and air…essential as I live in the Arizona desert! Instead of a She Shed, I call it my GG - Girl Garage! Plenty of room for my longarm and a big sewing area. I am taking a 4 day class at another dealer later this month that is taught by HQ educators! I can’t wait! I am hoping to really learn the ProStitcher so I can do more custom work. My favorite quilts are those with lots of hand embroidery or hand appliqué, so I don’t just want an E2E all over my handwork. Any videos about that would be great!

Wow! The HQ event I am attending next week lists you as the educator! Are you really going to be in Arizona next week?

Harriet, Great video. Thanks for the tips on the Red Snappers. I've never used the bar to brace the fabric and snap the Snappers in place. That will be a game changer. I can see why you use the longer pieces instead of needing to cut them down to smaller sizes. Any chance you do Pantos? I have not yet figured out how to nest the additional rows so there isn't any overlap. I'll be watching for you new videos. Thanks again!

Your videos are very helpful to me. I have a problem with my design shifting to the right as I rotate my quilt and I would like to see how you handle that. I would like to try to quilt the Baptist fan design and I am hesitant to try it because I’m afraid that I can’t keep it lined up.
@harrietcarpanini3980Ай бұрын
I do all my drag and drop from the middle of the quilt. I usually don't have a drift issue. I also never float my quilts. I like the tension on the bars.

Do you have a link for the purchase of red snappers?
@harrietcarpanini3980Ай бұрын
I do not. Check with your local quilt shop first and then try to google it.

Hi Harriet great video. I would like to see a video about tension and trouble shooting. I remember from an event in New York that you taught at that the bobbin screw is adjusted in very small increments but the upper tension is full turn….is that correct?
@harrietcarpanini3980Ай бұрын
That is correct. I should have the video up tomorrow. Thanks for watching!
