RED STONE CONTROLLED TRAIN

Hey. Not a pro, just from one request i made this tutorial for automated train control for immersive railroading mod 1.16.5. Who dont understand well about the open computers for set up automated train for this mod, this one is easy and anybody can try. Just be careful choosing the locomotives and total trains weight to successfully stop where needs.

Hello. First of all thanks for making the tutorial I appreciate that. I have got one question. How do you choose the speed you want the train to go? And the same to the brake power. Thanks

The distance in between the foward throttle augment up to the state cell , connected by redstone. more blocks you usedto connect the two less the speed. Less the block more the speed. in my video its 9 block distance , so the speed is 15-9 = 6 , so the train run at 60km/hr speed. though it may depends upon the engine you used . For the brak power i used the potentiometer with 5 redstone strentgh. So the brake applied fully if the speed more than 50 .

But if you want to use the potentiometre directly for brake or throttle, you can calculate diecty/ Means redstone strength 1 = 10 , 2= 20 etc. for the brake higher is more brake, lesser is light brake./

Hi! Huge thanks for this tutorial. I have question though: How i can predict the placement of speed reduction system so the train will stop on automated stop, waiting and start? The train has 120km/h with 2 standard passenger trailers. Thanks in advance

Hey thank you for asking. So my first offer is use 2 locomotives,. why? Its increases the total length of the locomotive. So the speed reduction will have enough time to break the train under 50 km, and if its come below that the speed automatically set to 40 km/ Also place the speed reduction a bit away from the station in that case. Rest trial and error. Its not perfect but its possible to do.

@@biplobbiswas7506 thank you so much. I resolved that problem by checking where the train will stop, and i just extended that system which applies the brake and throttle, works like a charm :))
