@MoolaMixtape4 жыл бұрын
fawfulthegreat64 Actually, all of these samples are approximated-I couldn’t get my hands on the original samples so I used the libraries I had to mimic them. You don’t find a lot of soundfonts for gamecube games and up because a good deal of the music is streamed audio, and the individual samples wouldn’t be in the games files. thank you for coming to my ted talk lol, glad you enjoy the cover!

Happy you think so highly of my cover! In my opinion, the various subtleties in the original recording really make the track shine, which I had to simplify to make this work. But it all boils down to your preferred genre and mood, and I appreciate your feedback!
@daridon24834 жыл бұрын
Well, in OK you are in a circular stage with an audience around you that speaks about the battle and how it is going, so you are not that far from the truth. Also due to the dynamic soundtrack, you hear a quieter version of the battle theme while you are in the spin phase, so it fits pretty well with the puzzle part of the battle thinking what is the solution of it, and then on the attack phase the original version plays, which pumps your blood and makes you want to show off.

1. Your TTYD covers are freakin' amazing and deserve more credit. 2. Origami King Mid-Game Spoilers This has me thinking... Since battles from Mario Story, TTYD, and possibly SPM are on a stage, what if they did this for the Shogun Stageplay? What if they replaced or added a play with a stage with all the old assets with the exact same old battle system, with mini macho goomba's and koopa's (maybe with their classic sunglasses), for just one little bit of fanservice. What if they did that to not only prove that they do care about what people want, but to also set up a test to see if people really wanted that battle syste- I'm going too far into this, aren't I? Just saying, it'd be a really nice "surprise" of a reference...

I'm a longtime Nintendo fan but I haven't gotten the Switch yet. At my age game time has slimmed down and bills have grown up. Out of curiosity I looked up videos on The Origami King and listened to the battle music. I'll admit it's amazing, but it lacked a certain "Nintendo-y" feel to me. This definitely bridges the gap for me. One day I'll get used to the new sound, - which again is great- just different than what I'm used to. Great job!
