Red-tailed Hawk at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Refuge

I was lucky enough to be able to get within about 20 ft. of this beauty dining on a squirrel today.

That hawk was so focused on eating, more so than any hawk I've personally seen! That's great that you can get so close to this hawk! I can rarely get closer than 300 feet from a Red Tailed Hawk!
