I like the inclusion of the 90-ish Brunswick Square mall logo as introduction. Hawks abound 'round our place for we have bird feeders. One time I had what I think was a starling, the finished corpse wedged by fate in between the divide of a Shepard's hook. It is not just Red Tails that cruise around either. In conclusion -- great capture. FTR, the Ruby Tuesday is now gone, replaced by Red Robin and another bar.

Looks like the Red Tailed Hawk is happy for its lunch. To hell Red Tailed Hawks in the future against poachers, donate to Wildlife Conservation Society at 2300 Southern Blvd in Bronx, NY 10460.

Eww, I knew I shouldn't have watched. That's okay though, that's what birds of prey do. I noticed that Red-Tailed Hawk isn't afraid of the crowd nearby at all! In my neighborhood a Red Tailed Hawk can be across the street in an open field and it'll fly away if you get too close to the curb. The guy inside was just 2 feet away from it, and I'd say the others were about 15 feet away. That hawk probably has a nest in that city somewhere, which explains why it wasn't afraid. It took a big gulp of that bird before it flew off. Although it seemed to look in all directions, I'd suspect it got nervous from all the filmers and photographers. Gee, I guess I know how that hawk feels when the cameras are all over him, just like a celebrity.

Yeah, I've never been this close to one before. I guess that when it has food on the plate, it's not leaving so easily.
