2021 Red top mountain is doing a lot of construction this year that will not be completed until 2022. They are cutting trees widening roads building new bathrooms and building new campsites for bigger RV to fit. Just heads up!

We wish we stopped in Georgia on our way to Canada. Maybe on the way back. We love Georgia. Renting a boat is a great idea since we are full timers and sold our boat. Waters edge site would be awesome. Love seeing the RV so close to the water. State parks are so much better and more natural than private parks- That rarely have hiking trails. Very cool beach. So much in a state park! Great job. A peak at at least some of the sites would be nice. Alice

Beautifully shot and inspiring. Not far from where we live so we'll definitely keep this place in mind. I'm curious when you visited the park. Saw no one wearing masks but also noticed the park was sparsely populated.

@@CampTravelExplore So if you don't mind ... when exactly was your visit ? We've been thinking about starting some local travel but currently holding back mostly because of the heat and humidity.

I live 20 mins away from Red Top, in Dallas, GA. My son and daughter will be having their birthday picnic here this Sunday. It'll be our first time at this particular park. Have you been to the Athens Botanical Gardens in Athens, GA? It's free and beautiful!

@CampTravelExplore4 жыл бұрын
I have an episode called , "This south Georgia campground has it all" and that is Georgia Veterans State Park, and "Lakeside camping" which is Laura S Walker State Park too! I have them on a Georgia playlist if that helps! I have stayed at Reed Bingham as well, but never shot a video as that was three years back.
