Red Velvet is actually super popular internationally and SKOREA. It’s just that they’ve been on hiatus as a group for almost 2 years because one of the members had a pretty severe injury back in 2019 during rehearsals of an End of year music show. That left her with a fractured right hip/right wrist/right cheek and some bruises. So many fans even non-red velvet fans were so pissed off at the broadcast station for not making sure the stage was following safety protocols. The stage itself wasn’t safe during the actual show too! Many artists were tripping or slipping on that stage and they were all paranoid cuz of what happened to Wendy. But yeah, Red Velvet members individually are endorsers for brand names. Irene is with PRADA, Joy is the Korean ambassador for an Italian shoe brand TOD’s. Seulgi is an endorser for CONVERSE and Salvatore Ferraggamo Italian clothing brand. Irene has endorsed for MIU MIU. Yeri and Wendy has endorsed beauty products. But like I said, they’ve been doing their own individual things for almost 2 years while waiting for Wendy to be 100% healthy. Which is now! Red Velvet finally came back as OT5 with a new title track and mini album. Wendy looks and sounds even more amazing as well as everyone looks stunning as ever!

You’d be surprised. Sm likes to spend money on expensive clothing and they have no logos at all. They don’t go for the in your face “I got Gucci” shirt lol if you look up like those insta accounts where they post what they wear on MVs and such, you’ll know. Also the girls now are ambassadors for high end brands. They’re more popular than you think, esp in KR where it counts the most IMO.
