I can see why this is the best performance in SM town 2025, as expected from RV, as a long time a reveluv i enjoy this very much

I wonder how RV would’ve done if it originally was only made up of these 3 a la Destiny’s Child. If you didn’t know that the group was made up of 5 people you wouldn’t think anything was missing or wrong since they all covered vocals really well and these 3 are typically the stronger dancers of the group + they tend to be the most successful solo with their other projects which shows high interests from fans and general public. Which is interesting because we know the group did well as 4 and Wendy’s vocals are insane. Yet Seulgi definitely handled the killing parts well in this performance. As for Wendy’s solo endeavors people don’t seem to be as interested (label under promoting is def to blame in some aspects) which shows that for whatever reason she’s not getting as much attention from being in the group. And then yeri while nice is just there which she knows as she’s moved on to acting. Interesting to think about which probably explains why Wendy and yeri are probably not gonna resign with SM

It's funny what you say, and i think you have some points, but as someone who has seen RV live when Joy wasn't there, I got out of the concert thinking: Wow, without Yeri and Wendy this wouldn't work at all. They all did incredible, but Wendy and Yeri were the most engaging with the public. It's hard to explain, but their energy was off-levels and made the show incredibly enjoyable! Yeri's vocals and harmonies were always on point and Wendy's voice was killing all the time. I think Irene, Seulgi and Joy would work wonders as a trio as well, but definitely when I watch some performances, it's like the group lacks their magic somehow! I got out of the concert feeling the same as i did when I first saw BTS live and fell in love with J-Hope: he has the most stage charisma and yet is so viciously underrated (at least in 2018, if not for his dance qualities). Yeri has an undeniable charisma, similar to Seulgi when in stage, but I would argue that Yeri carries it off outside of dances too. For me, and loving them all equally as a reveluv, I got out of the concert feeling like I hadn't missed Joy and that Irene wasn't as surprising as I thought she would be.

@@ruvirasfilms Those are really fair points you're making especially since you're coming from the POV from seeing them live/being a stan and me just being a general fan/seeing a few of their music shows performances. It's cool to see where are points are similar and then different as as a result! I agree with your thoughts on Wendy's stage presence. There's been a lot of music shows I've seen where after Seulgi she's next for me in who ends up owning the stage. I'm not surprised she brings the same energy in live performances. That's interesting you say Yuri is the same cuz from the casual interactions I've had with the group she really just blends in to me. Like I'm not denying she has the charisma it's just interesting that doesn't get communicated across to a casual fan (so I'm not gonna go deeper beyond a certain point). I wonder how much of that is due to SM not pushing her in public facing opportunities that could show that off/music shows favoring the same group members during filming. I think that's where the 3 in this fan cam succeed better at in that they each have an ability to draw a large group of people including stans/non stans to pay attention to them and then want to continue. I agree with your take on J-hope and I feel like he and Wendy are on the same wavelength of being professionally underrated due to kpop fan's obsession with looks. I find that a lot of people will get into a group/person based on looks and both of them got picked on early in their careers for not being considered conventionally attractive. You can see this in RV where Irene gets a leg and boost up on everything she does based on the halo effect, but compared objectively to her group mates she's not the most talented in singing/dancing.
