I see a lot of people praising Vinny, but you've got to remember that Mike, Joe, and Bill do a lot too, though it's understandable if you only know Vinny and don't know the other guys, he is kind of the poster boy of Red Vox, as Vinny has said himself.
@OfficialMidnightRuby4 жыл бұрын
I knew I was forgetting one of their names! I knew about Mike and Joe, but forgot the other's name. I follow Mike actively as well since he also has a Twitch channel, but the other two are rather private about their lives, which is fine.

Mike's rhythms on a lot of Red Vox's songs are genuinely some of the best drumming I've heard

Yeah Vinny and Mike are like close. I thought Joe was the Studio owner or like a jazz nickname. Their names are short and simple tho.

@@OfficialMidnightRuby isn't it weird how the keyboard player's name is always so forgettable in every band, even when they're amazing? it took forever for rick wright to stick in my brain.

I loved when someone said the song had Pink Floyd vibes. Vinny would probably be happy to hear that since he loves Gilmour so much

Drumming is mostly about feeling the music rather than reading it, at least outside of a symphonic band or other similar settings. After you’ve played/listened to/studied enough music it’s pretty easy to play along with music you’ve never heard before since you’ll pick up on certain musical patterns and concepts as you play. It also helps to have a jazz background since it teaches improvisation skills and helps you anticipate song structures and chord progression so you can jump into any song and pretty much know how to play along with it for the first time.

i wish he would admit that people only watch his stream to watch him cover their favorite songs, rather than pretending thst people watch his stream to be "entertained" by his personality. sorry, but thanking people for donations isn't entertaining and i'd rather just listen to him playing and then talk in between songs.
