I really like the red switches they give just a simple clean and quick sound that is not too loud, but I do still prefer brown switches as it feels like it a balance of both.

lowkey a psycho move but i switch my keyboards out at night, in the day time ill use my rk61 with clicky blues and by night ill use my razer cynosa chroma doesn’t have a clicky sound (even tho i was told its a mechanical keyboard)

Tactile always feel better in sound or when you type text, i still have to try them with a game and they might be not as well suited, altho I do like the tactiles because you can definitely feel if you misclick a key with linear and with clicky its definitely different, to me clicky feel more "sudden" when you feel the bump, and they feel less bumpy, altho I do believe that depends on how good are your switches, but i tried even the cheapes low grade tactiles and they feel more "definite" and satisfying, and even a bit thokier

Personally, the blue switches work best for me, I like the noise it makes, it's pretty loud if you're playing a game that your constantly pressing keys, like fortnite or something similar, but I like it. If you're looking for something a bit quieter, get the red, your not gonna get that bump after you press a key. But don't get brown, brown is for like emails. So if you like a bit of noise, get blue, if not, get red, if you like typing emails, get brown.

reds are the best for gaming so you don't get distracted. Blues are good for typing (don't use blues in the office unless you want to start a fight due to the noise). Browns are idk

Help! Here's the thing. I give a F*&ck about how they sound. I care about the feel. I know not to get Blue because I type like I'm on a typewriter before electric typewriters were invented. Accuracy and how they feel is what I need explained. Red is linear and brown is tactile? I need some idea of what that means when pressing them down as you type quickly. Step up if you are good with words please. I don't have the luxury of comparing these switches side by side where I am. I suppose I can always change switches if I buy a Keychron or something? Just going to have to choose one. Never had a a mechanical board before, and the cheap plastic boards usually break after a a year. RTeady to get something stronger.
