​@@charlesterry2480oh plenty of people say otherwise all the time. When I came out to my lesbian friend in highschool her response was "one step closer to being one of us", meaning lesbians. Oftentimes bisexual men are told that they're actually gay but haven't accepted it, bisexual women are told that they're straight but experimenting, and bisexual nonbinary people are often left out of the conversation entirely. Even within the LGBTQ community biphobia is a real thing that people have to deal with. Which is why things like this are important.

Can I just give some immediate appreciation to the fact that she's brushed up enough on LGBTQ+ issues and safety that she is able to give the sex talk 2.0 off the top of her head, because how many could do that when they believed their only child was straight? Honestly for me that says a lot about her as a president/person that she keeps up to date on those kinds of health issues and needs because she just genuinely cares.
