Brian, why don't you replace the cork you take out with cork again as in the original, Is what you use superior in terms of comfort? I would love to see some more longer length videos with commentary about how you go about building a boot from scratch. Thanks for these lovely videos. Brian, felicitaciones realizas un hermoso trabajo, y escribo desde chile porque acá las "Engineering boots" no son conocidas; a pesar de aquello habemos quienes apreciamos la durabilidad y lo diferente de este tipo de calzado yo en mi caso tengo 4 modelos de diferentes marcas y colores : CHIPEWA ( negras y amarillas de caña alta ) , HARLEY DAVIDSON ( negras de caña alta ), y AMERICAN WALKER ( caña alta ). saludos desde sudamérica.

Not correct the heel of the boot is not even with the table. When you walk with these boots it will walk with an extra step

I was expecting some really gash job. But for such a young looking bloke, you do some really nice work. Someone else commented on the replacement of the cork cushioning/insulation, I was wondering if you could replace this also.

Honest question: So with the exposed stitching on the sole, does it come apart when you wear 1/8 inch off the tread and break the stitching?

The sole won't come apart. It's also glued down so it will be good even if you wear down 1/8"

Excellent job! And those are gorgeous boots. I know you utilize leather instead of cork for the insole. Are they comparable? Does leather mold as well to ones foot as cork over time? Much appreciation for your videos, mahalos!
