I’m a year in on the same boots and same insoles. Bottoms got smooth fast but I’m on a lot of concrete, asphalt, and metal grating (power plant technician). Most comfortable I’ve had for sure. Went to get another pair today and was told they are two months out.

Still have them. Love them. Water gets into them now but i have rubber boots. Super comfortable.

use rubber boots or muck boots. any leather with time will have water penetration.

Redwing has a leather protector spray that has done a good job keeping mine waterproof
