We've had a mild winter here in Chicago but the RWBBs have been back for a week already. That's certainly one of the beautiful sounds of spring and summer. Even after this, it's for me to distinguish the calls!

Thank you so much, Ramujiro! The blackbirds are quite stunning - the adult males, like the name suggests, have red wing patches and the orange is usually a smaller line. The young male I filmed hasn't developed his full colors yet so was more orange.
