That first note was monstrous but everything after that went down... Whitehaven needs some trumpets.. first round.. Redan

Any body with ears can hear that Whitehaven is stronger and cleaner in this clip. Don't get me wrong Redan is solid and I was impressed by their sound; but Whirehaven made a clear statement with their first note that kinda shut up all the spectating trash talkers.. You can't argue the fact that strong and clean trumps strong and wreckless everytime. Both programs are obviously a force in the world of high school band so neither should walk away upset.

NO BIAS....NO BULL!!! Whitehaven sounds good. Redan sound good...but not what i'm use to. I'll say Whitehaven was somewhat cleaner. But overall it was equal to me.

i play with lihonia & im reppin atl bands but whitehaven runs tennesse because aint kno other good bands there they came down here in ga crankin but to me they got redan but redan put up a fight i love redan but whitehaven got them. Redan got whitehaven with trumpets,tubas,& percussion but whitehaven got them with mellos baritones & trombones & a tad bit of trumpets

Been probing the net checking out clips since this was posted. This is still one of the best High school battles I have ever seen. Maybe the best. Two primed and ready high schools that could easily murk any half steppin college.

So, in a nut shell. If an ATL school battles any school from any place, they win because of where come from. Huh?! Honestly, this first round was a toss up. RHS did there thing and WHS turned some heads. It was a true battle of styles. It was the later rounds where RHS came up short. Upon viewing this clip I watched a few other RHS clips. They are normally much cleaner than in rounds 3 & 4. They are still "TOP TIER" maybe the best in GA. However, in this battle they came unraveled,

I'm tell you this the frist not only made me think of SU because that is where yall style comes from. I have said this before Redan selection in songs and them not sticking to what makes them Redan is the only reason this battle is even clost. Redan didn't have to play in to WHS style to win this battle and I am shocked Mr.Moore didn't go another way with this battle. Trust catch Redan at a Jamboore when they are not so hype and play to their style WHS would have a chance.

and here is another thing that might have given whitehaven an edge and that is the song selection whitehaven played songs that were easy to crank on while redan played complex arrangements another thing is that whitehaven seems to have a darker sound than redan so it will carry further

LOL! I wouldn't engage in an internet argument if you paid me. Let's not be internet gangsters people. No need to use profanity to get your point across. If you can't hear that the attacks and releases from WHS are way cleaner and that WHS is much smaller than redan and playing with way more intensity. Than there is no getting through to you. I will say this. The ATL unity is ridiculously strong. If you listen to all 4 rounds and still say Redan. WOW! Both programs are good none the less.

@91dreadz Let me tell u somethin brah..... The reason Y Whitehaven won 5 quarter is because they have a great level of musicianship and pride twards their instruments. It's not always about what band is the biggest cause it's no doubt u guys won in that category. But bcuz they sound like a BAND, and they not screamin all over the place caused them to win the match. But if u wanna go there, how come when ya'll played HEADBUSSAS, the second time the band took a break, I only heared 1 tuba.

What makes this comment funny is that your serious. SWD has nothing 2 do with this vid, so why bother bringing it up. I've seen that vid as well & ain't as serious as you make it sound. It was 2 rounds & then SWD left. WHS played a few more afterward. Of those 2 rounds one was in favor of WHS & the other in favor of SWD. Redan is strong but they came up short this round. WHS' Btones, f horns, and bones clearly don't play the same part. Who were u listening 2?
