Naw dude. It is cloud's style and originality that won this for him. He didn't "entertain" by dancing. He poured his soul into every move he made and showed his original style, what alot of bboys seem to lack nowadays with manila airchairs and blank freezes. this was the first round of the quarter finals - which means theres 3 rounds instead of 2. So, Neguin got confused and thought it was over after the 2nd round. Hence the confusion then everyone realized what was going on.

@TrippyJing This is strange yet true. Watching breaking videos from the 80's is somewhat scary, everyone's body is stiff and tight. Today, everything is so contemporary and diverse that even things like what defines dance are being conceptually stretched and toggled. Cloud is a genius because he has found extraordinary manners of moving which are still being defined within ordinary categories of breaking. He's breaking on such an elegantly dynamic level, higher than culturally classic bboys.

Hahaha, because Cloud danced better. He hit more beats and played with the music better. Neguin did really good, but you can't win a B-Boy competition with just the basic power, flips, tops, and footwork. Neguin is just a really good overall B-Boy, but he doesn't have anything that makes him stand out like Cloud. My opinion though. =]

I agree with you sifuone, soul control are dope and Cloud is dope. But technically Neguin was stronger and although he didnt dance it up as much, his tops were on beat. I love cloud and I know how many bboys from the usa to korea bit his moves. But I thought he shouldnt have won this one. Cloud has suffered from all the commerical work hes been doing, cos he hasnt been adding new stuff to his reportoire.
