Mate, I am coming from a base line of not ever seeing an event with these modern trick trucks. I am truly in awe of how they can travel so fast over such rough terrain. We do not get this type of racing televised here in Australia. While your questions are valid I think your assessment is a little harsh and just maybe you might under estimate the effort involved in bringing this vision to our screens. I am thankful to Redbull for posting this up, I watched it with great interest from beginning to end..definitely no waste of time for me. cheers.

YKLABATYD F1 is a world wide, global, entity that has arguably the wealthiest sponsorship and highest following on the planet, the money and expertise is available for tv production that most developed and some undeveloped countries pay huge amounts for, definitely not a fair comparison. This Offroad racing with the trick trucks is unique to America with perhaps a sneaking into other countries for exhibition only. I guess I am a glass half full type of person and you may be right with respect to other American Off Road televised events with which this production should be compared.

At 29:06 the drivers side tire they changed earlier falls off the truck. I think I tightened all the lug nuts. Maybe that fast tire change they spoke of earlier was just a tad too fast. Bummer shit like that happens.

yes its two different class trucks 1 being HP which trohphy trucks or "stadium trucks" are running around 1200-1500 and other is all around size and some small other things such as trophy trucks are genrally a 1 seater and made for short track racing with short track off road tires and short track suspension

Nope!! When Robbie Gordon was driving for Mr. Vennable the old Ford Hay Hauler was called a Trick Truck due to the numerous "Tricks" that the builder used in it's construction. The builder later admitted that the Truck was in fact Illegal as he tried to turn in The truck saying that he knows it was Illegal as he built it that way. Trophy Trucks came about as a new class brought about with the Robby Gordon/Vennable was beating everyone. So Sal Fish added the Trophy Truck class with very few rules in place and with the understanding that this class was run ONLY for the Trophy thus the "Trophy Truck" class.

Look it up and you will be shocked. The pure electric only really shines if renewable energy is available. Otherwise all you cot is a coal or oil or nuke powered car. Complete with pollution.
