The 2019 Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship reached a dramatic climax at the iconic Red Bull Joyride in Whistler, Canada.
In what might have been one of the most emotional moments in Slopestyle mountain bike history, Emil Johansson (SWE) stepped up to the top of the podium at the biggest contest is the discipline, Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler, Canada.
Brett Rheeder threw down a flawless second run, bringing in the loudest cheers of the day from the 30,000+ crowd that descended on Whistler to watch it all go down. And while the Triple Crown evaded him this year, Brett Rheeder does walk away with the overall Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship title from the points he amassed over the course of the season. This is the fourth time he’s won the Crankworx overall!

The man is definitely skilled, but also smart enough to not let himself get carried away and get injured. Would be interesting to see Rogatkin in his place though, as that man has absolutely no fear.

Love mtb biking and respect Brett rheader dudes a stud butttttt kinda laughed when he talks about all the pressure getting to him because all the media surrounding it and him . One hand it’s shows how humble he is and that’s really cool but on the other hand if that’s the case step out the bubble for that moment . Huge in mtb biking for sure but he isn’t huge in Walmart let’s say. He could hit the mall and or a Walmart n make it out without be approached by mobs of screaming fans for sure. So basically watching any other form of media or entertainment besides red bull or mtb specific I would think he would be distracted and the pressure may fall off a little . Lol. Although I could be wrong Brett could be getting chased down the street by cameras , reporters , and screaming girls right now , Brett “ the Beatles” rheader. He must be King Kong in canada. Same reason I can’t go to Japan, I’m just to big in Japan.
