Winning a very 1st race in career is being a legend... wow, it's easy to b a legend with u. I wonder what Nino Schurter is then...
@b.willisfederer87202 жыл бұрын
Schurter in some crazy records: - Now 33 world cup victories - Olympic champion and 3 times on olympic podiums; almost 4 times in a row, with last summer's 4th place for a few seconds. - 9 times world champion, + 5 times in team relay, + junior world champion + 2 times U23 world champion + many silver and bronze in the w. championships. - 7 times winner of the world cup overall; always 1st or 2nd during 10 years & he is the only man ever to have won every single races in a world cup season (2017). - Between 2010 and 2019, during 10 seasons, he won exactly HALF the world cup races (32/64), letting the other half... divided between all the other guys.

Seriously, when Nino made that move in the final 5 minutes, they immediately changed shots and didn't show what was going on with the lead group for nearly a minute. I can appreciate them wanting to show all the racers, but when there is a tight 3 man race on the final stretch, that's what viewers want to see. Lots of time showing an empty course with no racers too.

I didn't post "third" anyway, I wrote a comment a bit more interesting! 😜 But I have to admit I also posted a few times just "first".

want to mountain bike on asphalt? in the city? What disgusts me is always associating Brazil with the jungle, as if we were a bunch of Indians living in the bush...
@bd95312 жыл бұрын
Mate, they're not emphasising the Jungle aspect in any way to dismiss or generalise about Brazilians... It's because the world cup virtually never goes to that type of environment. This race and Cairns are about the only "Jungle" (rainforest) races in recent history... All the other races, apart from maybe South Africa, are at ski resorts etc; alpine or temperate environments.
