Before the battle, I would guessed that Rubix would have taken it. He is a crowd pleaser and a more dynamic dancer. But seeing the battle, MT was the better dancer. He had more moves. When the crowd is chanting your name (MT), it is a good sign of the win. Big congrats to MT. Love that Rubix gave MT love and respect.

I find it quite funny when people say Rubix was robbed. Firstly, it is voted by the audience. Second, what do dancers dance for? Dance to convey positive energy to the audience, and among the audience there will be people who like it and people who don't. If your dance touches the audience's emotions, they will vote for that person. Many people say MT has many fans so it should be voted??? I think the fans here are those who know from the previous MT, but here will be mostly dancers and audiences who don't know about the appearance of the above dancers. But why do they still vote for MT???? I think MT tried really hard because he had to dance to hiphop music. I find his compositions divided very clearly, each composition has detail and musicality as well as pops to make the audience explode. As for Rubix, he is also very good and fiery. But the composition he gave was quite one-color, causing the climax of the music to stall. Maybe you see him moving a lot, but the detail and layout are not really good. It seemed like in round 3 he started to fear MT because of his creativity, he wouldn't know what MT would do with this music and it made the performance in round 3 not good. And I saw Rubix himself admiring MT in every round until the last round, he really admired MT. Respect for mt and rubix.🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏

Guys remember this is a commercial type of dance battle. Not your typical underground dance battle events where there are street dancer judges. So expect here in Red Bull, you'll definitely disagree with the outcome no matter what, because after all this event is fan/people voted. Actually, whenever I watch Red Bull dance battles I already set myself to not expect too much on the outcome. I'm just always here for the dancers and what they'll bring on the stage. :)

So, the audience will consist of mostly dancers that have knowledge in that style of dance. And the audience and online voting only applies to the semi-finals and finals of the contest.

MT Pop killed it and he adapted to the music because and they weren't even popping tracks and this how he dominates and he even knew the lyrics for the musicality, that last round with the MT POP crowd trust catch was fire (w/ Majid) that's love & respect! Rubix is dope I follow both but comparison I just like MT's style better because he studied all dance styles with a wider range and is just clean with precision like a sniper and he adds humor. Rubix is more free flowing he loves doing those wide extension moves, tip-toey spins and with the ok semi-bone breaking signature move he likes to do which sometimes I wish he would complete a full bone-breaking rotation. Regardless Dance won that nite. I always think of battle cats back in the days from NY like Nu Era's LIQUID, KOOL AID, CASPER. Joyntz, Storyboard P, etc. Love to see LIQUID vs. MT POP to popping tracks only that would be sick.

Objectively speaking, Rubix in the final round probably used the tactic of stirring up the audience to score points, but MTpop was more alert when in the first half, MTpop used the technique to kill the beat as much as possible, the second half interacted with the dancer. But look at the whole journey of MTPop, he really deserves it more, try asking in the contestants, who dares to dance Indian dance on Indian music in front of an Indian opponent right in India? He even danced more Indian than T guy, I think that's the point that helped him make the biggest impression in the audience's hearts & the criteria of the contest is Dance Your Style, you dance the way you want, you like to dance many styles you dance - I dance 1 style still follows the rules of the game! sorry to say but MTPop didn't dance the Indian way but more of the stereotypical/non dancer way in that particular round only. But that song vibe is being free and dance any which way you want. That's what worked the MT way, the Indian guy danced more technically right on that song. But any way dancing is about being free and fun, so MT deserved that round and the Indian crowd is all loving if you accept their culture.

MT Pop is just DIFFERENT!!!!! He can really dance to any music and he's not boxed in like a lot of other poppers are. He flows with the music while still sticking to his style, I love how he makes his precision and technicality fit to the music. Beating Rubix is NOT an easy feat, and he won pretty significantly here IMO. I think Rubix had the energy and the swag but MT had the better flow and musicality. This was a dope battle.

To be honest the songs picked are too lyrical and kinda wack. Should have stuck to popping beats or something from arabic flavor music. First song pick is mostly 4 fun and doesn't bring the best out of their styles. I disagree that this is unfavorable to MT Pop lol you just need charisma and groove. I think this battle could have gone either way, the 1st round could have been a draw, the 2nd round for Rubix and the 3rd for MT Pop, I think it could have gone to an extra round, but if it had to be decided with 3 rounds I think it would have still gone MT Pop's way since he did more complicated moves and I think the 1st was a little better and had the added bonus that they didn't play music for his dance style, the songs were hip hop.

Rubix performance almost felt forced. He has never been the cleanest dancer but where he shines is connecting with the music. Unfortunately he never connected with the music in this battle. He kept throwing out big moves in hopes that the would stick. Which kept interrupting the flow of his movement. MT’s performance just flowed better. His movements were clean and controlled while doing big moves and small nuanced moves.His musicality was on point and he really connected with every track despite it not being pop music. And of course his creativity is god.
