If this was an anime plot: Ceb is the senior/old player whom everybody thought that he was not good enough, so he sticks to coaching; dreams of winning as a player were long buried. Notail is the captain of once a good team, but fell into losing streaks; breaking his confidence bit by bit, thinking that maybe he would never win again. Jerax is the calm and dependable teammate, usually shy away from the spotlight, but always there even during the darkest days for the team. Ana was the wonderkid, one day flopped hard and got bullied, then thought that maybe he was not destined to be a pro player. Topson is the unknown rookie, dreaming of winning the big one; unpolished potential waiting to be acknowledged by the world. Then the anime starts.

Ceb didn't retired, he just went back to coach and manage OG team that open up new squad (OG seed and CSGO team). IMO, retired doesn't mean he stop playing for good. So far, Jerax just lost interest in Dota, no motivation. Maybe in the future, Jerax can comeback as a Pro player if he want to. Remember Fear from EG right? He was once retired, but comeback again as an active player.

When the interviewer asked Johan who was with him, I somehow saw (in his eyes) the desire, the longing that he wish Tal was with him, that Tal was there celebrating with them, that thru thick and thin Tal and him made it, that their brotherhood made it. I felt tearful watching Johan shed some man-tears. It just show how he miss Tal, how he wanted to win so bad to make a point, how good a person he is on and off cam, and how inspiring he is not only as a player but as friend and captain. Shame Tal was not there, and I'm still hoping they reconcile with Tal. After all brothers fight, but they are still brothers.
