Wild One I’m pretty sure it was the bike that cost Honda the win last year. I agree the rider is most of it, but clearly the bike can kill you.

Honda, Yamaha and Husqvarna have all fielded talented riders the last few years. KTM has been stronger towards the end of the rally than all of them. Also the KTMs have been more reliable overall.

Robson Enduro agreed but that guy on a Kawasaki or any other bike he will win as well you have to want to do that type of race ktm has a lot of catching up to do in the supercross world and others as well great bikes

its easy to dominate when all the bikes are KTM. lol. gas gas for eg. is the new Red KTM, Husqvarnas are the white KTMs. hahaha.. also, KTM will never forget the year 2000, Richard Sainct and others took a BMW 1 - 2 - 3 finish in the dakar where KTM had 76 factory bikes... i dont think they are going to win in Saudi Arabia.

I remember when KTM was definitely not quite up to par in the late 90s. BMW and Yamaha were winning with teams of only two bikes. When KTM first started winning, they did so by fielding about 15 factory or factory-supported bikes. Now they’ve got the technology, knowledge and experience to continue to win. For now at least.

Ktm only started winning because they banned the Honda’s, BMs and Yamahas that were winning. It was the worst example of corruption in motorsport ever.
